Coronation Bells

It was a privilege for the Bell Ringers of St Bartholomew’s to play for The Coronation on May 6th just as their predecessors have done before on so many celebratory occasions. The Coronation – what a weekend!

What a wonderful celebration of church, village and life in our country and commonwealth.  The “theme” of service was certainly invoked by all those who prepared the  flower festival in church, the village for the street party and CrownFest at The  Bell.  Here are a few pictures of the weekend in all its glory!

CrownFest

As well as the street party on Sunday, for the Coronation, there will also be CrownFest taking place at The Bell on Saturday evening which will include members of the congregation!  Martin and Robin are members of The Honeybadgers – so come along to join in the celebrations.
