As we continue to use PowerPoint to present our services week by week, I am looking for someone to assist in creating these. The service liturgy is prepared by the ministry team and needs to be converted into the slides. Bishop Colin will retire in November having served with great distinction as our Area Bishop. The diocese has received approval from the Dioceses Commission to move ahead and appoint the next Bishop of Dorchester. Please would you keep this appointment in your prayers in the coming months, both privately and publicly.
A relative is seeking any information about this soldier whose name is on our memorial. If you know of any possible living Pearce relatives, please ask Rev’d Paul for contact number.
The Food bank is short of the following items: Fruit juice, cold meat products, gravy, tomato sauce, coffee, hot chocolate. Toiletries, especially shampoo, deodorants, toothpaste and toothbrushes. If everyone could manage to regularly bring one item a month we would make significant difference to those less fortunate in Witney.
