The theme this year is “generous hospitality.” The theme will explore God’s role as host and our role as his guests at the table, as well as exploring our place as generous hosts and guests with our family, friends and local community.
We will be depicting a variety of hospitable settings, for example:
- at a formal table setting to eat a formal meal
- at a casual table setting to eat a snack /lunch
- sitting in a formal chair
- cuddled in an old worn armchair
- playing on the floor with cushions to sit on
we can expand on this when we gather and plan, these are just some initial ideas, so please do share any ideas with me before we meet to plan.
Would you like to be part of our harvest art installation? Involvement can be as little as helping us source all the props, to helping creatively stage each installation. We hope to meet together, likely Thursday 21st September at 1:30pm to plan and then Friday 6th October to complete the installation in church.
