The Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage – a fundraising event

In April 2024 Johan Schoeman (LLM) and Jenny Pratley announced that they would be undertaking a pilgrimage along the Camino de Saintiago ……..

Jenny and Johan are walking the last 100km of the Camino Frances, from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela (Spain). Together with a group of other pilgrims they will be setting off on 17th June and walking between 12 and 19 miles per day to the Cathedral in Santiago.

At the Sunday Holy Communion Service on 30th June, Johan will lead and Jenny contribute to the sermon; this will be an opportunity to say thank you to you, and for them to share the spiritual insights of their pilgrimage.

Johan and Jenny want any hard earned sponsorship to be raised for our specialised fund – the Sound and Vision Fund. This is to help improve some elements of the sound system, to upgrade the screen and the projection – hopefully to move it higher up in the church so it’s not in the way.
