The Mothers Union would like to invite you to join them in donating to the West Oxfordshire Food Bank. If those of us who could manage it would bring one item each Sunday to put in a marked box in the North Porch, a member of MU will take them to the Food Bank during the week. Food items need to have at least a 6 month shelf life. Toiletries, sanitary items including toilet rolls, baby items and even pet food are welcome, as long as they are unopened of course. 
A comprehensive list is on the notice board above the box. Demand may increase during the school holidays, as families whose children usually have free school meals will need to buy more. Those receiving parcels have to be referred by a health or social worker or other professional, and are only given 3 parcels of 3 days’ supply during one year. Thank you for your help.
