For some time now the PCC has felt that our church library contained and intimidatingly large number of books, and that it should undergo carefully selective downsizing. The process of selection has now started; books that have been “deselected” will be displayed on the chest in the “space” for a week or two to be free for anyone to take away before they are finally disposed of. It is also clear that the present bookcases do not make it easy to choose a book; new and more user friendly book shelving is planned.
