Marian – au revoir

It is with great sadness we announce the death of Marian Pitman.  Marian carried out many and varied duties for St Bartholomew’s for many years; until 2015 she was the church administrator with responsibility for weddings and funerals. Goodbye Marian and thank you. Details of Marian’s funeral will be published as soon as they are known.  

DHPA 66th Village Flower Show

Mothers’ Union work with hospitals

The Mothers’  Union in the Diocese collects items for parents who stay with children in the JR in Oxford; these are often very sick children from quite a distance.  We collect shower gel, shampoo, soap, toothbrushes & paste; also new magazines, tea bags and sachets of coffee, hot chocolate and malted drinks; small packets of 2-3 biscuits, cleaning materials and washing powder. …
